How to prepare for the HCG Diet — best list for pre-HCG checklist!
Okay, so you've decided to do the HCG Diet! And now... you're waiting for the HCG Diet drops to arrive. There are a few things you can do in the meantime to prepare yourself for the HCG Diet.
First, Congratulations! You have just made a HUGE decision for yourself and for all of those around you to start the amazing HCG Diet plan. You probably have 'ants in your pants' waiting for your HCG Diet drops to come in so you can start seeing your weight drop on the scale!
#1: Gather Everything You Need:
- HCG method (HCG drops, HCG injections, HCG pellets, HCG patch, or HCG pills)
- HCG supplies you might need for your method of HCG
#3: Take HCG Before Pictures: HCG before pictures of yourself so you will have your HCG before and after pictures to show off. They don’t have to be in a thong bikini (unless that’s your thing), but should be in somewhat tight-fitting clothing to really get the full effect.
#4: Buy Ziptop Bags: Zip top bags or food storage containers are essential on the HCG Diet if you are going to pre-prep your food and individually pre-package servings... which we strongly recommend you do. It keeps you prepared, on track, and less likely to cheat. Most people pre-package their HCG meat/protein selections, but you pre-package all your food.
#5: Write Down Goals: Write down your weight loss goals for this round.
- How much weight you want to lose?
- How many inches do you want to lose?
- How do you want to feel after you lose weight?
- What piece of clothing are you most looking forward to wearing after you lose weight with the HCG Diet? Little black dress? Bikini?
- Keep these goals handy to help you avoid cheating.
#6: Make a 'Goal' picture. If can be a picture of yourself at the thinner weight, a picture of a celeb with a rockin' body, or just a picture of a scale with your dream weight on it. You can post these goals around your house as inspiration during Phase 2 of the HCG Diet. You can also put them in your office, your car, and wherever you will be while dieting.
#7: Print off the HCG tracking sheets. There are great tracking scales in the My HCG Tracker or the Pocket Guide to the HCG Protocol. But you can always make your own HCG Diet tracking method. There are also a lot of cool weight loss apps that you can use to track your weight loss.
#8: Plan your HCG Diet gorge days!! Remember that you must get down as much fatty food as you can on your gorge days without making yourself sick. AND, you should try to hit all the things you think you may crave over the next month. So, seriously…plan out those 2 gorge days. Otherwise, you may regret it because you didn’t get one last slice from your favorite pizza place.
#9: GET YOUR MIND RIGHT and your house as ready as possible. If you live alone, this is easy. However, if you live with others, it may be more of a challenge. Just try to get your kitchen as “clean” and HCG Diet ready as possible. Throw out all the junk food and things that may tempt you, especially your “trigger foods”. There is no reason to have them in your house for the next month.
#10: Get ready to have some FUN. Any challenge you take on is going to be easier, more enjoyable, and more successful if you look at it like a game — like FUN. That’s why we are here.
