HCG Diet Plateau Breakers
Per Dr. Simeons’ manuscript many years ago, “plateaus do occur at times on the HCG diet, even when the HCG diet is being followed perfectly”. A plateau is a stall in the loss of weight for more than 3 days which can last up to 10 days, but are typically 4-6 days”.
Plateaus are covered in depth in Dr. Simeons’ manuscript. That is one resource you can tap for information on minimizing the effect of a plateau.
While plateaus are very frustrating, they will eventually break. There are some strategies to try to break plateaus sooner, rather than later, such as an HCG Diet Apple Day, the HCG Diet Mini Steak Day, and a high protein day. For more information on Plateau Breakers and a more in-depth description of plateaus on the HCG diet, visit the account page section called ‘Plateau Breakers’ after you make your purchase on www.diyhcg.com.
A brief description of the top two are:
1. HCG Apple Day: Starts at lunch on one HCG diet day and ends the next day at lunch. Drink water only and only to satisfy thirst. Eat up to 6 apples throughout the day. No other food or liquid is allowed on an apple day.
2. HCG Mini Steak Day on Phase 2: Drink allowable drinks all day. Have a 3.5 oz. beef sirloin or beef filet steak with a raw apple or tomato for dinner.
Always keep in mind that people are different. What works best for one person does NOT necessarily work best for another person. Furthermore, what causes stalls or gains for one person does not necessarily do the same for others.
Accordingly…
We highly recommend that you do NOT change how you follow the protocol just because someone else reports losing weight with a modification.
This applies to products and, even more so, with regard to recipes. Be aware that there are more non-compliant protocol recipes circulating on the web than protocol compliant recipes.
Rest assured that all recipes on www.diyhcg.com are checked for compliance before posting, and we will continue to add more recipes for all phases of the HCG diet as time goes on, so check back often.
