Before You Buy Anything, Consider
Look. There are dozens and dozens of places that sell HCG and HCG diet supplies. Currently, some of the products work, others don’t work, but all are having great success (no matter how useless and awful their HCG product actually is) because of the growing popularity of the HCG diet (not a good combination in our opinion).
Everyone gets it: The HCG Diet works amazingly, when executed correctly. Many people who had given up the fight to lose weight now have a new found hope. Individuals and small groups of people are jumping on the bandwagon by setting up HCG sites left and right to cash in on the market. If HCG was a simple product like Vitamin C or a t-shirt, that would be fine. However, HCG is nothing like vitamin C or almost any other product we have experienced. Namely, HCG is PARTICULAR and not obvious to most providers, much less participants.
Let us assure you that our company, DIY HCG Inc., now has years of experience following thousands of people closely from start to finish.
We were there in the beginning of the craze of the HCG diet in 2007 helping anyone who sought us out for our knowledge and expertise. Our company even includes a couple of the authors well known in the HCG Diet Weight Loss industry.
While we are sure there are some helpful places out there that sell and support the HCG diet Do-it-yourselfers (possibly like yourself), there are many more who simply don’t have any expertise or even personal experience with the HCG diet. Please, do yourself a favor and be aware. Know who you are dealing with so that you get the best experience you possibly can when you participate in this wonderful protocol.
As you might imagine, where you buy your HCG, your HCG diet supplies, and other products for the HCG diet can be one of the biggest factors in your success. This is because the effectiveness of HCG can vary, invalid recipes with non-allowed ingredients and spices are COMMON, and products sold on many websites can cause slower loss, stalls or even GAIN, but are sold anyway simply for profit.
So, choose carefully and keep the following points in mind:
They MUST, MUST, MUST (did I say must?) be STRICT with the Diet
Make sure that they promote absolutely STRICT adherence to Dr. Simeons Original HCG Diet Protocol found in his manuscript Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity (free download on homepage of diyhcg.com). If they promote slip-ups, advise how to get away with cheats, or have recipes on their site that mix vegetables or allow “un-allowed” spices or ingredients, drop them like they’re hot!
Why would you want to work with a company that promotes the HCG diet without following Dr. Simeons original, proven HCG Diet Protocol? They ‘allow’ these fancy ‘tips’ and ‘enhancements’ like protein shakes, other food replacements instead of real food, 0 calorie drinks with un-allowed ingredients, extra ingredients in their recipes, etc. either because of ignorance to the importance of sticking to the original manuscript 100% or to keep you on the HCG diet protocol longer, generating a longer and more profitable income stream for them. This is Business 101 – keep the same customer longer by slowing down the potential results. So, BEWARE.
The Lowest Price is NOT Always the Best Reason to Buy
Sure, there are some people selling prescription HCG ampoules for $10 each. There are even some people selling homeopathic HCG drops for $12 a bottle on-line and right out of their trunks in parking lots – sound familiar? Hopefully only if you are a drug dealer or user! These trunk sales are occurring now in Utah in the USA (March 2010). We can all agree that it is cheap, BUT it is also very scary and possibly even illegal.
You still have to look at what are you NOT getting when paying for the dirt-cheap versions: customer service to answer basic questions, a number to call to check on your order, options for additional expert support, one-stop shopping to save time and shipping for everything else you will want to successfully do the HCG diet, extensive reports, and expert information on their website to help you lose as much as you can on each round of the HCG Diet protocol.
Then there are the logistics of the HCG being in stock, their order turn-around time, and their speed of shipping. It is not unusual at all for sites to display in really small print, that orders placed are typically shipped within 2-3 business days, or worse, 2-3 WEEKS after you place and pay for your order! Please be aware of all these things when making your purchase.
Another little trick used on the HCG sites that takes advantage of ‘newbies’ is to offer ‘kits’ that are not enough for even a minimum number of days at low prices. When comparing prices, make sure there are enough HCG drops to finish a full round (minimum 23 days of HCG needed or maximum 43 days of HCG needed). In other words, there may be “kits” out there for only $60, BUT they may only last for 14 days of a round. This can be devastating to a newcomer because they would simply run out of HCG drops before realizing that more HCG diet drops would be required to complete even the minimum number of days. Please do your research and calculate before you buy.
Reliable Source is Top Priority with a Product that Goes into Your Body
Make sure that you are ordering from a reliable source. If you can, make sure their homeopathic HCG diet drops are made in the USA in a lab under the strict manufacturing guidelines of the FDA. Whether it is homeopathic HCG drops or prescription HCG, it is something that you will be putting into your body. Practice due diligence. This is especially true if you go the homeopathic route. NOT ALL HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES ARE MADE THE SAME. So, please, please, please order from a company with a fantastic track record of effective and high quality homeopathic HCG diet drops.
Check Their References (So to Speak)
Ask around. If you are weary about a certain company, call or e-mail to make sure you get a live person who actually knows about the HCG diet protocol that you are getting ready to start. Make sure that the support staff is full of expertise on the HCG Diet Protocol because that is what YOU need.
Watch for Hidden Fees or Monthly Charges
Yes, believe it or not, there are HCG diet websites out there that will sign you up for an automatic monthly charge when you buy from them without you knowingly giving consent. It is sad, but true. Read all the fine print to ensure that you are NOT signing up for anything unintentionally.
Now the BIGGIE: Make Sure the HCG is IN STOCK!
Here is a VERY common issue that occurs with many sources for HCG and the HCG diet. We hear it all the time.
So, you are online surfing around for the best deal on HCG and oh, you find a good one! It is $20 cheaper than everyone else and they have really neat graphics on their site. And, it says “In Stock”. You quickly place your order and then in the confirmation e-mail, it says something like, “Thank you for your purchase from blahblahhcg.com. Your order has been placed. Your HCG will be shipped within 2-3 weeks of your purchase date. Thank you for your business.” WHAT?!?!? Your excitement is shot down by a 2-3 week waiting period.
Ugh, but at least you got some notice that it wasn’t really “In Stock”. Some don’t even inform you that they don’t ‘exactly’ have HCG on their shelves. Let me tell you, there is nothing worse than waiting around 3-6 weeks for something that was supposed to quickly change your life.
Again, watch out for those sneaky little green words “In Stock” next to the HCG bottle. Verify it says somewhere else on the site that it is ‘In Stock’ and when their HCG diet orders typically ship. You should also be able to call or e-mail real companies and get a much better feel for how they do business. Believe me, 5-6 days (or worse, 5-6 weeks) can seem like an eternity when you are psyched and ready to start losing.
If you are ready to take the next step and order today, please visit our Buy HCG Products tab and start filling up your shopping cart. With DIYHCG.com, your order is shipped same day (Monday-Friday) if your order is in by 2 p.m. CST.
That’s just how we roll.
