Summary of the HCG Phase 3 - HCG Diet Maintenance Phase

1st 3 weeks: NO sugars and NO starches

  • That means N-O bad for you sugars and N-O starches on the 1st 3 weeks of HCG (sometime mistaken as HGC) Maintenance
  • If you cheat during HCG Maintenance you may mess up all of the hard work you endured over the last month in the HCG VLCD and take the chance of making HCG Maintenance in the future much more difficult. Believe me, you don’t want to do that.
  • Good foods to eat on HCG Maintenance are protein-rich sources such as meats, eggs, hot wings, jerky, low-ish carb fruits and veggies, a few almonds, a little bit of cheese, some healthy fats, and some fantastic salads with extremely low-carb dressing such as Ranch dressing and Blue Cheese
