DIY HCG Diet Program’s Dos and Don'ts of the HCG Diet
Do:
- -Make sure that all of your personal care items, sweeteners, and spices are protocol friendly.
- -Make sure to accurately weigh your protein selection at exactly 100 g (3.5 oz) BEFORE cooking
- -Be aware that you are allowed to separate your fruit and melba toasts/breadsticks from your meals if you prefer, or if you need to eat more than 2 times per day. For example, you may prefer to eat ½ of a large apple for breakfast and the other half at 3:00 in the afternoon on your break at work.
- -Find an activity that you like to do that doesn’t involve food.
- -Start your day off with a nice hot cup of coffee or tea with some good flavored stevia.
- -WEIGH EVERY MORNING at about the same time in about the same clothes.
- -Be thankful for how much you lose overall!
Don’t:
- -Don’t try to make up or back into your calories. You can ONLY eat what is in the manuscript whether that adds up to 500 calories or not.
- -Don’t cheat (it will set you back, possibly a couple of days)
- -Don’t use any lotions, creams, moisturizers, etc., if avoidable as they may cause stall or gain.
- -Don’t chew any gum or eat any mints or cough drops, (if avoidable,) as they may cause stall or gain.
- -Don’t drink anything besides plain coffee, tea, or water flavored with Sweet ‘n’ Low or natural stevia (NOT Truvia, Purvia, Zsweet).
